Buyer Associate - (Colorado Springs, CO)

Position summary (US Citizen only) * Commodity Management and Supplier Main responsibilities: - Develops and optimizes work:in:process levels, which maximizes quality and throughput to best meet customer qualifications. - Analyzes inventory identifying areas of opportunity to optimize all levels of material within the facility. - Access and utilize SAP modules relating to MRP and Purchasing for reporting to data research. - SAP Preferred - Supports Commodity Managers as directed for contractual and procurement assignments. - Participates in managing contractual documents through the company contract flow processes. - Audits work area for safety compliance. Additional Details: - Develops contractual bids for items, materials, or services of a technical and specialized nature. - Promotes/fosters a passion for excellence with a solutions oriented mindset. - Participates in regular scheduled meetings with suppliers to monitor performance standards.
