Position description Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Buyer for a Commodity Buyer contract with 1 of our clients here in Greensboro. Ideal applicants will have a min of four years buying background and be able to handle large volume projects.This is a contract position for 6 mnths. Position qualifications: :Manage day to day tasks with suppliers including meetings updating agreements and presenting feedback to departments :Work directly with other teammates and departments such as engineering and project managers to establish timelines :Analyze project spend and processes to evaluate areas for improvement :Source and qualify new suppliers and prepare RFIs and RFQs :Participate in internal meets to present info :Work with multiple departments including engineering, quality and aftermarket parts :Monitor project phase risks :Ensure all parts are procured in time for projects :Provide weekly updates and performance reviews of suppliers and stakeholders
