CADD Drafter - (Baton Rouge, LA)

Job overview GIS Engineering has an immediate opening for a CADD Drafter working in the Baton Rouge LA or Houma LA area. This applicant must have background preparing drawings using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D. Min qualifications are an Associates Degree or Certificate in Computer Aided Drafting and Design. Design, engineering, and drafting background would be beneficial spanning disciplines including civil, structural, mechanical, transportation and environmental engineering. :Assist team with any drafting needs. :Complete markups/red lines from Engineers and/or Project Managers. :Create and print maps and other visual presentations. :Prepare civil, mechanical, and structural drawings from sketches, notes, layout, information and verbal instructions. :Import and export survey data :Prepare surfaces, create alignments, profiles, and sections (not required, will train) :Draw and work with 3D models for design, drawing creation and presentation. (not required, will train)
