Quality Assurance Technican - (Chester, SC)

Critical responsibilities: • Conduct Formaldehyde (HCHO) testing for all particleboard products produced • Maintain all key functions of the HCHO Laboratory, including but not limited to: pristine lab cleanliness, adherence to established procedures, maintenance of equipment, adherence to preventative maintenance and cycling of chemicals and perishable items • Act as the main plant liaison with the Composite Panel Association (CPA) technical representative • Coordinate and collaborate with the Technical Director on all quarterly (or more frequent) CPA audits of the facility • Maintain detailed records of all activity within the HCHO lab • Manage, test, and interpret all sanded board testing • Maintain detailed and accurate records of physical property testing • Communicate frequently with the Technical Director on product out of compliance, and assist in troubleshooting the process • Be involved in active cross-training with other QC personnel Min Requirements:
