Accounting Services Senior Philadelphia, PA, US About the Position: The perfect candidate will be responsible for having a knowledgeable accounting and tax background for servicing clients. RESPONSIBILITIES: ---Background in working with family and closely held businesses. ---Accounting and tax preparation responsibilities ---Proficient QuickBooks knowledge with ability to train and trouble shoot for clients on this software ---Preparation and filing of quarterly payroll tax returns and year-end filings, reconciliations, W2's and 1099's ---Maintain and update general ledger including: monthly, bank, and credit card reconciliations, fixed assets schedules and depreciation. ---Tax Preparation, including Business and Individual Tax Returns JOB QUALIFICATIONS ---Bachelor's degree in Accounting required ---2-five years of background in a similar role ---Superior verbal and written correspondence skills ---Ability to work unaided ---Working towards CPA preferred
