Maintenance Technician - (Charleston, WV)

Applicant will be responsible for general maintenance responsibilities to include minor plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs. Will respond to and address room calls involving room repair, maintenance or replacement of all guest room systems. Assist other staff as directed by Engineering Management Team. Responsible for daily activities and utility meter reading. Previous maintenance background a plus. 500 dollar sign on bonus after 6 months of employment with no documentation. Qualifications Learn and understand all building systems and their proper function. Maintain knowledge of hotel features/services, hours of operation, daily house count and expected arrivals/departures, etc. to ensure work orders are scheduled around critical times. Complete assignments from log book daily; complete all assigned work orders daily. Learn proper operation and maintenance of equipment and stay up-to-date on new equipment. Maintain adequate inventory of needed parts and supplies.
