Maintain positive relationships with tooling vendors on ways to improve tool life and cut quality Job responsibilities: Plan machining schedule by studying work orders, blueprints, materials and specifications. Program beam saw, edge bander and CNC by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation and conditional switches; calculating qualifications, including basic math and geometry; proving part programs. Set-up beam saw, edge bander, CNC and other equipment.
