Laboratory Assistant - (Naples, FL)

Performs activities and other tasks as necessary in a laboratory environment. Duties include performing venipuncture, specimen processing, recording temperature and performs various other laboratory functions. . Responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining cleanrooms and equipment. Assist in ordering and stocking of materials and equipment. Requires High-school certificate or GED and 0-two years of background in the field or in a related area of Biology or Chemistry. Phlebotomy background is preferred. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Reports to a supervisor or manager. Detail oriented is a must. This is a full-time position.
