Director of Maintenance and Construction - (Pittsburgh, PA)

Business and Aux Services is seeking a Director of Maintenance and Construction to oversee all day to day maintenance activities and construction and renovation projects in the department. Major responsibilities associated with this position include, but are not limited to: supervision and safety of all maintenance personnel; maintenance management for Business and Aux Services (Housing, Dining Services, Conference Services, University Stores, Parking, Transportation and Services); preventative maintenance planning, budgeting, project management, including capital projects - defining the scope of professional services, managing the development of construction drawings and specifications and managing projects from initiation through construction; other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree or completion of comparable specialty program. Years of background can be considered in lieu of degree. Current knowledge of city and state building codes and regulations preferred.
