Junior Health Privacy/Security Associate Attorney - (Sacramento, CA)

Sacramento office of our client, a Chambers ranked law firm, is actively seeking associates to join our Health Privacy/Security Group. The applicant should have 2yrs of background. Should specialize in data privacy and security matters. Should have background with the laws governing health care privacy, security and breach, including the FTC Act, HIPAA, and the HITECH Act. Must preferably have some familiarity with other laws that govern the processing of health info, including GINA, Part 2, the Common Rule, state medical confidentiality laws, and state breach notification laws. Some familiarity with a broader range of data privacy laws, such as CCPA, CAN-SPAM, CFAA, COPPA, ECPA, FOIA, FCRA, GLBA, the Privacy Act, and TCPA is a positive.
