Tax Attorney - (Omaha, NE)

Omaha office of our client, a Chambers ranked law firm, is actively seeking associates to join our Tax Group. The applicant will join the attorneys that comprise the multidisciplinary Tax Practice Group, which works seamlessly with the firm's other practice groups, the clients and the clients' other professionals to provide sophisticated tax planning, controversy, and transactional counsel. Will research tax and legal matters, draft documents, issue spot, propose and develop solutions, and work directly with existing clients of the firm. Must have 2-six years of legal background, with meaningful exposure to U.S. federal income tax (individual, corporate and partnership), estate/gift/generation-skipping transfer tax, payroll tax, and state sales and use tax. LL.M. degree in Taxation is preferred. Should have an active membership and good standing in the Nebraska State Bar Association. Portable business is not required.
