Senior Adult Counselor- FITT Program - (Casselberry, FL)

The FITT Program is a multidisciplinary team consisting of therapists, case managers, and recovery specialists that work with parents with open child welfare cases who have substance use disorders. We help them to become sober, stable, and to obtain reunification with their children from child welfare. We utilize a evidence-based model for treatment called Family Behavior Therapy which sets up interventions based on self-control, communication, budgeting, safety, substance use triggers, and more. We work in-home or in-community with our clients. We also work very closely with other providers and child welfare workers. Our schedule is approx: 8:00am-5:00pm, but it is flexible. We strive to eliminate all barriers to service for clients and this may include working earlier or later hours to see certain clients. Required functions: * Completing assessments with clients pertaining to substance use, parenting, trauma, and daily functioning.
