Subsitute Teacher - (Erie, PA)

Job description: The Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit (IU5) has a need for Substitute Teachers for both regular education and special education for the 2018-2019 school year in Erie, Warren and Crawford Counties. The daily rate is based on individual district substitute rates (ranging from approx $75- $115 a day). Training and job shadowing within the classroom is provided for all emergency substitutes. Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in any field Successful candidates will be required to submit acceptable PA Child Abuse Clearance, PA Criminal History Clearance and Federal History Clearance as well as complete forms Act 168 for current employer and any previous employer where the candidate worked directly with children. Additionally, a negative TB test will be required within three months of receipt of the test results by the IU.
