Warehouse Supervisor - (Berwick, PA)

Location: Berwick, PA Wise Foods Inc, is currently seeking the position of a warehouse supervisor.This person will work directly with the warehouse manager and will be responsible for assigning, directing, and monitoring the work of union associates; Shipping quality product in a safe environment; Continued improvement of process flow to better meet the needs of our customers. Assigns, directs, and monitors the work of union associates in the following warehouse functions; Pilers, Warehouse, Shipping, Administration and Yard Jockeys Trains new union employees on the companies job functions and standard operating procedures (S.O.P.s) Assigns position duties for union work force, based on daily work load, staffing, requirements and seniority Monitor individual performance, identifying areas of opportunities and communicating (verbal and written) based on performance and quality of work Evaluate and schedule employee vacation/personal time based on company policies and projected workload
