Insurance Verification Coordinator - (Providence, RI)

HopeHealth is seeking an experienced Insurance Verification Coordinator. This position will be based in Providence, RI. Under the direction of the Revenue Cycle Manager, the Insurance Verification Coordinator is responsible for obtaining and documenting accurate, timely insurance verification for hospice and home care for HopeHealth affiliates. Duties / Responsibilities: Obtains authorization and coordinates collection and submission of authorizations as required. Tracks ongoing authorization qualifications. Provides administrative support for departmental functions as needed. Works closely with other teammates and departments in support of efficient, effective departmental operations including maximizing revenue realization and timely insurance verification and authorization requests. Education / Background: High-school diploma with min 1 to 2 years' background in healthcare insurance verification, preferably in-home care and hospice environment.
