Customer Service Software Engineer - (Newport News, VA)

Provide software support services to clients using automated solutions including Automation Manager and Warehouse Manager applications, Java, PL/SQLOracle, SQL Server, Win/Unix/Linux operating systems, dashboard/cockpit practices, Secure Web Services (SOAP). Apply knowledge of programming, databases, and operating systems to research and provide direction and/or resolution for application, database, or technical problems as identified by clients. Test, debug, and correct non-confirming programs and research application, database, and operating system problems. Perform defined tests and document test results for client and baseline projects. Prepare estimates and design documents for change requests and will maintain design documents in accordance with ISO standards. Prepare and review ticket reports with clients. Provide after-hours support on a rotating basis, to address customer issues that are reported after normal business hours.
