POSITION ASSIGNMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES:*Implementation, maintenance and support of Oracle database environments to ensure optimal performance, integrity, and recovery.*Monitor and improve database performance and capacity utilization and, installation and testing of DBMS upgrades and patches.*Conduct performance tuning, standards enforcement, tools evaluation, and production system support.*Apply procedures for regular database backup using RMAN and Data Pump.MANDATORY SKILLS:*8+ years of background as Oracle DBA.*Min of Bachelor*s degree (technical field).*Thorough knowledge of Oracle 11g/12c RAC in Solaris environment.*Current expertise of mission critical 24x7 production environments with RMAN, Data guard, RAC on 11g/12c.*Current knowledge of Oracle ASM administration.*Current expertise of RMAN backup and recovery.*Current understanding of disaster recovery procedures using Data Guard.*SQL, UNIX shell scripts.*Database Monitoring Tools: Oracle Grid Control
