Customer Quality Engineer - (Waukesha, WI)
Position assignments: Responsibility for ensuring that our products, processes, and system are in compliance with customer and Schaeffler qualifications and quality standards. Coordinate the efforts of the Customer QE functions for assigned customer sites. Serve as the KAM-Q for assigned customers, and all of the associated functions for this role. Attend customer project sessions and seminars related to launch, pilot, and supplier quality initiatives, representing the Schaeffler sites providing product to the assigned customer. Make proactive goodwill visits to customers to ensure there are no minor problems and investigate status of data from test systems for the product. Monitor customer system for concern communication at assigned customer sites. Coordinate containment activity at customer site at the outset of a verified Schaeffler product issue. Coordinate field returns for assigned customer products are analyzed according to warranty procedures.
