Quality Auditor (3 Day Work Week) - (Louisville, KY)

This is a second Shift position; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 6pm - 6am with possibility of overtime. Position is responsible for conducting visual and physical inspection, sampling, testing and control of raw materials, work-in-process and finished goods to conform to established standards of quality, appearance, and other specifications. DUTIES Utilize established testing processes and standards to verify that raw materials through finished goods meets customer and industry specifications. Maintain appropriate records and databases of approved and rejected items. REQUIREMENTS Must have good vision/color perception and be able to pass a color test. Must have basic technical skills, math skills and measurement skills. Demonstrated neat handwriting and recordkeeping skills. Must be able to frequently lift 25-30 lbs and occasionally lift up to fifty pounds. Demonstrated expertise to diplomatically and tactfully communicate quality standards despite objections from production personnel.
