Senior Manufacturing Engineer - (Marinette, WI)
Analyze, plan, implement and ensure the max utilization of human, material and machine assets, work force utilization, space qualifications and work flow, and layout of equipment and work space for max efficiency of the production processes, while ensuring the safety of personnel, equipment, machinery and the facility. Participate on cross functional teams to address and resolve manufacturing problems and to ensure the continuous, ongoing improvement of processes and methods to improve productivity and quality, while reducing costs. Act as the technical resource to customers, lower level engineers, all shifts and other departments to address and resolve inquiries and problems related to the manufacturing processes and products. Responsible for planning, sourcing, pricing, ordering, installing, and troubleshooting new supplies, services, tools and equipment from outside vendors for full production lines and for new business (13-20 machines per line). Assist in training lower level engineers.
