Mid-level Corporate Fund Formation Associate Attorney - (San Francisco, CA)

San Francisco office of our client, a Chambers ranked law firm, is actively seeking associates to join our Private Equity Funds Group. The applicant should have 3-six years of background. Must have several years of significant background in corporate work including: Specific background working with fund formation; Representing fund sponsors and investors in the formation and operation of various types of investment funds, including venture capital, private equity funds, funds-of-funds, distressed company funds, and hedge funds, among others; Substantive knowledge, deal background, and industry credibility to effectively guide both GPs and LPs through the entire fund formation process; Advising on structural, regulatory, and tax issues, as well as economic terms and fund governance matters. Bar Admission in California is required.
