Accounting Manager- Manufacturing - (Tacoma, WA)

An industry innovator located right in Tacoma, WA is currently recruiting for an Accounting Manager with manufacturing background to join their team. This is a permanent role and you will be the 1st manager on site with the team so you will really get to make an impact. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves leading, helping, and training an accounting team as well as helping to streamline processes. This company supplies utilities and transportation companies throughout the US. In this role, you will be leading a team of seven and overseeing day to day accounting functions. You will also be heavily involved in month end closing as well as supporting plants for specific accounting and reporting needs. this is a heavily transactional department, they have three regional check runs a week; so you will stay busy! You will also get to report to the Director of Finance who is also right on site in Tacoma, so you will have the support you need as well.
