General Labourer 10 (nec) - (Rochester, NY)

Prepares ingredients to be loaded in to hopper by hand, loads blenders and /or bag dump from pallets, bags, drums, etc. Keeps work area clean and free of debris. Knows, understands, and follows safe operating procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices. Ensures all product Quality Standards are met. Maintains clean and sanitary work areas, machinery and equipment. Perform all tasks and duties required to ensure production and efficiency standards are met. Accurately communicates safety, quality, production, maintenance and sanitation issues to supervisor and/or the appropriate departmental personnel. Communicates with supervisors and co-workers all details relevant to the Manufacturing process. Responsibilities: Ensures the proper set-up for the next shift and communicates all details relevant to the manufacturing process. Double checks all minor ingredients received are as required and have been provided in the correct measurements.
