AVP - Engineering & Operations - (Des Moines, IA)

Summary The AVP-Engineering & Operations plays a key role in the company providing strong technical leadership and sound platforms to support F&G operations. The position is responsible for management IT Infrastructure, Infrastructure Managed Services contractual commitments, vendor performance against SLAs, negotiation of necessary contractual changes and provision of timely, reliable and accurate infrastructure performance reporting. Responsibilities also include the management of local and remotely deployed IT infrastructure and the technical on-site support staff. Organization This position reports to the VP Chief Info Officer and provides supervision, oversight and guidance to Managed Service vendors, in-house engineers, and the service desk. The position works closely with the AVP of Solution Delivery and provides internal consulting advice to IT staff. Business management and staff interactions will include troubleshooting and customer service evaluation.
