Facilities Seasonal PainterFLSA Status:Months Per Year:Hours Per Week: 40Position DescriptionSeattle University has an exciting opportunity for a seasonal painter to join our Facilities paint shop.The main job duty of this temporary position involves assisting in performing all phases of interior and exterior maintenance painting on general campus buildings. Clean and prepare all surfaces before painting and perform any needed surface repairs. Preparations may include pressure washing, caulking and glazing, and patching. Apply appropriate primers, paints, sealers, stains, and other finishes as needed. Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times. Maintain all tools, equipment, and materials in safe and operable condition. Work at heights up to 90 ft. Safely operate scaffold, lifts, and swing stage as needed. Use all appropriate safety equipment and procedures for fall protection and personal protection.
