SUMMARY: To construct, maintain, repair and upkeep the interior and exterior of the facilities including cabinetry, framing, trimming and sheet rocking all new and existing projects. Responsible for a high-level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Construct, stain, laminate and install cabinetry Frame walls, partitions, ceilings and flooring Hang sheet rock Remodel existing structures Repair damaged walls, fixtures, and the like Estimate materials required for projects Maintain carpentry tools KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge and Certification Required: two years training or apprenticeship in carpentry or cabinet making two years on-the-job carpenter background Proven knowledge of safe operation of all tools relating to carpentry Skills Required: Accurate and detail-oriented Highly organized and expertise to adapt quickly to changing priorities
