Splunk Junior - (Springfield, VA)

This position is with a federal agency, working on 1 of the largest Splunk deployments in the US government. The applicant must be familiar with working in datacenter-cloud hybrid environments. The applicant must have a strong background in DevOps practices, be comfortable using version control systems for code bases and binaries, and be comfortable working with automation tools including Ansible. The applicant should be familiar with Linux environments, editing, maintaining, and distributing configuration files and applications following current best practices. The applicant will work with other Cybersecurity Engineering teammates and will be required to interact with end users to gather qualifications, perform troubleshooting, and provide assistance with the creation of Splunk search queries and dashboards. The applicant will be required interact with senior management, as necessary. A min of a Bachelor's degree coupled with 1+ year background in the Info Technology arena OR five years background.
