Research Scientist, Level V - (Orangeburg, NY)

POSITION DETAILS: The NKI Center for Research on Cultural and Structural Equity in Behavioral Health seeks a Research Scientist to conduct research and evaluation projects in urban and rural settings that focus on mental illness, substance use (with specific attention to opioid use/misuse/disorder), and social determinants. The preferred applicant will have a background in Addiction Medicine, public health, disparities, and services research. JOB ASSIGNMENTS: Under the general direction of the Center Director and Co-Director, the incumbent will design, oversee, and support Center pilot studies that relate to behavioral health services research. Using theoretically-based research and service delivery approaches to design more effective prevention, intervention, and treatment modalities for the vulnerable populations and where disparities exist.
