Underwriter Associate Payment Protection - (Madison, WI)

Job PurposeUnder the direction of underwriting management, the underwriter associate position is responsible for evaluating risks and exposures for assigned portfolio of accounts/product line(s) according underwriting guidelines. Serve as a risk assessment resource for the business unit. This position is accountable for collaborating with the field staff, customers and other CUNA Mutual Group business areas as appropriate.Job assignments:40% 1. Evaluate customer risks and exposures for assigned portfolio of accounts/product line(s). Analyze coverage issues, consulting with underwriters and/or manager, when appropriate. Underwrite insurance coverage''s in compliance with underwriting guidelines, procedures, State and Federal regulations. Work closely with field staff to interact directly and provide comprehensive, detailed analysis with customers to create underwriting solutions that balance the need of the customer and CUNA Mutual Group.
