Controller Seacoast-based manufacturing company is looking for an established Controller to join them in their growth and success. The Controller is an integral part of the senior leadership team and is active in assisting the company in executing business decisions. This role is both tactical and strategic, requiring an individual to be flexible depending on business needs. Responsibilities: Active participation, supervision and final review of the month end/ year end close processes. Managing the entire accounting function and overseeing the staff. Final review of financial statements and GL reconciliations for accuracy. Closely monitor the AP function, ensuring quality and timeliness of payments. Conduct credit reviews and approvals. Cash forecasting/ budgeting. Manage internal controls and conduct routine internal audits. Spearhead implementations of new processes and systems. Partner with internal teams to ensure SOX compliance. Fixed Assets. Partner with HR to review and approve payroll.
