Position description The Controller VP of Finance has the overall responsibility for the Accounting Department and as an executive oversees cost controls, budgeting, profit planning, cash management, financial analysis, forecasting, negotiating and administration. Essential Job assignments Direct or coordinate an organization's financial or budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, or increase efficiency Supervise assigned staff including establishing and communicating performance expectations, provide positive and constructive feedback Prepare budgets for approval, including those for funding or implementation of programs Capital expenditure equipment/leases Review all contracts, terms and shipping dates are correct. Complete prior to customer presentation Kick off meeting to make sure there are no changes to signed agreement Direct and oversee all accounting, financial and internal accounting policies and functions of the corporation.
