Senior Systems Infrastructure Architech - (Minneapolis, MN)

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Systems Infrastructure Architect with distributed systems and infrastructure experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Job summary This position supports mainframe capacity planning in a complex environment with multiple Sysplexes and critical banking applications. The job entails: assessing CPU and storage capacity qualifications; updating and validating resource forecasts at an application level; evaluating project implementation qualifications; benchmarking system changes; reporting on resource usage, service trends, and capacity qualifications; and maintaining SAS code and analytic capabilities. Essential Qualifications At least 5 years of experience in either mainframe capacity planning or performance management. Proven skills with programming and reporting tools, including: SAS, SQL, MICROSOFT EXCEL, Power Point, and Access.
