Maintenance Helper/Event Set Up - (Birmingham, AL)

Responsible for setting up for events, appearance , and cleanliness of church buildings and grounds. Responsibilities: Set up and take down classrooms, dining halls, and other rooms as needed for worship services, classes, dinners and meetings. set up and take down of tables, chairs and other equipment. This requires Keeping the building and grounds clean, attractive, and well maintained. Assist maintenance personnel with repairs to lighting and electrical, plumbing, HVAC and the like. Working hours: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM Skills: Expertise to use basic hand tools, lift up to 50 pounds., communicate with staff, report on time and work the schedule required. Education: No Degree Required Background: Experienced Requirements: Maintenance and/or janitorial background, painting Painting - for a skilled painter would be willing to pay more. Schedule is 1130am-8pm - Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Will be asked to work some Saturdays as needed.
