The duties of the assistant quality technician who works in the QA lab are as follows: Verification of quality on press start up Hourly review and filing of press retains Troubleshooting of unflagged press defects in offline Creating and maintaining color standards End of press run review and filing of paperwork Maintaining stock traceability of foil/paper/PET Filing skid manifests Review and filing of offline paperwork and hourly samples Review of PONC sheets Review of paperwork from finishing to go to shipping Review of closed jobs from accounting Filing of closed jobs both into immediate and longterm storage Rejection of discrepant material and interaction with parties involved Archiving of proofs and color standards Organize and help write reports for R&D jobs Use diagnostic equipment to test both new materials and retains from jobs
