Principal II Transportation Planner - (Hartford, CT)

The Capitol Region Council of Governments introduces an opportunity to become its newest Principal II Transportation Planner/Engineer. EIT, P.E., or AICP is strongly preferred. This is a Full-time position (35 hours/week) Salary: $69,079 - $88,526. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manages Transportation Planning activities such as corridor studies, federal funding programs, and special projects with a focus on highway and traffic. Oversees project selection, contract administration, and consultant activities. Consults with municipal engineers and public works staff and provides technical assistance. Assists in organizing Transportation Committee meetings and activities. Performs other tasks as assigned.
