Position description - Aircraft Mechanic (Egress) (1900591) Job details Aircraft Mechanic (Egress) 1900591 Primary Location UNITED STATES-MARYLAND-PATUXENT RIVER Security Clearance: Secret Job Summary The Aircraft Mechanic (Egress) performs aircraft scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, servicing, launch and recovery, corrosion control and inspection with min supervision. Principal Accountabilities * Maintain military aircraft in accordance with Navy maintenance qualifications. * Maintain environmental systems. * Maintain aircraft oxygen systems, fire extinguishing systems and aircraft utility systems. * Performs aircraft scheduled/unscheduled on and off equipment maintenance. * Performs aircraft corrosion control procedures to include wash, wipe down, polish and vacuum. * Operate GSE, flight line vehicles and other support equipment as required. * Operate tugs for the purpose of towing equipment and aircraft. * Annotate maintenance actions in aircraft forms and VIDS/MAF or OOMA Systems.
