Correctional Officer - (Henderson, TX)

Correctional Officer MTC is currently seeking full time CorrectionalOfficers. This position is responsible for the custody andsecurity of inmates assigned to the facility. Other functions include: 1. Search for contraband and providesecurity. Perform specific securityfunctions including 'pat' and 'strip' searches. 2. Transfer and transport inmates by walking orriding in vehicles. Restrain and secureassaultive inmates as needed. 3. Properly prepare and maintain records, formsand reports, as appropriate. This position mandates a high-school certificate or equivalent. Prior corrections background is preferred but not required. Valid driver's license in the state of Texaswith an acceptable driving history required, unless waived by management.
