Laundry Attendant Job - (Bloomington, MN)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains the cleanliness of the hotel's linen supply Sorts laundry prior to washing Pulls damaged and/or stained linen prior to loading the washers Loads washers and dryers to recommended weights Saves energy by setting dryers for proper heating and cooling times Monitors usage of water to maximize consumption Informs supervisor of any equipment failures or supply shortage Presses and folds linens and uniforms properly according to garment labels, stacks or stores and required Completes inventory of stock as requested Adheres to hotel policies and procedures Maintains knowledge of and complies with all department policies Maintains cleanliness of laundry room Attends work on time as scheduled Uses equipment and chemicals in accordance with hotel's safety procedures Adheres to all health, sanitation and safety rules and procedures Aligns with the "Be Our Guest" service standards to build and reinforce skills that create a lasting service culture that provides caring
