Benefits Specialist - (Absecon, NJ)

Job Summary The Benefit Specialist, under general supervision, administers benefit plan provisions and processes transactions for ociates and retirees. Enrolls eligible ociates in benefit plans. May conduct explanatory sessions for a selected group of ociates. Maintains various benefit-related records. Core Duties and Responsibilities § Administers Health and Welfare Benefit Programs. Provides istance with other benefit plans offered by the Hospital. § Explains plan provisions, provides direction to ociates, resolves eligibility, and coverage issues. § Provides istance to ociates for implementation of benefits. § ists in open enrollments. § Maintains HRIS data ociated with benefit plans. § Participates in new employee orientation. § Effectively communicates with ociates and provides other Human Resources services. § Stays current on changing Federal and State regulations and legislation that may affect employee benefits.
