Nondestructive Tester Leader - (Warner Robins, GA)

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a work leader over a crew of three or more NDI testers/ND I workers. Provides instructional guidance, makes work arrangements and insures production pace is maintained and works with crew engaged in the inspection, detection and documentation of assigned tasks, items, assembles, subsystems and aircraft systems. Responsibilities Receives project work orders and/or instructions from supervisors. Conducts on the job training Works along with crew members to set the production pace Periodically checks supply of materials and equipment and insures needed NDI equipment to accomplish work assignments are available and manages to the tool control program. Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean working atmosphere.
