Quality control inspector - (Portland, OR)

A Quality Control Inspector job in Portland, OR is available through Modis. You must have background using a variety of gages, micrometers, calipers, test indicators, height gages, and you should be open to work on shifts. This is a full time opportunity and a chance to work with a reputable organization in the semiconductor industry. SHIFT SCHEDULE: MON-FRI, 5am to 1pm and 1pm to 9:30pm, must be available for both schedules to be considered RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform inspection using a variety of gages; micrometers, calipers, test indicators, height gages, etc based on specifications and document inspection results Bag and label products Perform daily checks of gages Work with Manufacturing and Engineering regarding product quality issues. Assist in special projects as and when required Perform other duties as assigned EDUCATION/BACKGROUND: High-school degree or equivalent. 1yr background in an inspection or quality control environment is a plus Familiarity with interpreting mechanical drawings.
