STARTING RATE: 10.50 Basic Function 13; Performs a variety of housekeeping services to maintain clean guest rooms according to established standards. Visually inspects rooms to assist in identifying maintenance items needed. Assists guests whenever possible by providing linens, terry or providing details as requested. May be asked to assist in laundry / public space when needed 13; General Knowledge, Skill and Expertise 13; Requires expertise to follow verbal directions. Requires strong knowledge of cleaning procedures as well as cleaning supplies. Requires expertise to work without direct supervision. 13; Mental and Physical demands 13; EDUCATION: Requires knowledge, skill and mental expertise equivalent to completion of 2yrs of high-school. BACKGROUND: Previous background in cleaning helpful, but not required. KEY FUNCTIONS: Requires expertise to walk and stand during entire work shift. Requires expertise to push vacuum, reach, stretch, and bend in routine daily work activities.
