Assistant Sous Chef : Hotel Irvine - (Irvine, CA)
Position overview: 13; Jr. Sous Chef will assist in various areas of the kitchen doing prep, cooking on the hot line or pantry, reading ticket orders, bake shop, assisting in the Market Place, following recipes and plating guidelines consistently, preparing all foods to the Hotel Irvines culinary standards, expediting on the line as needed, expertise to maintain composure under stressful circumstances. 13; Position duties: 13; A Jr. Sous Chef must be knowledgeable in the Culinary field with the expertise to multitask, work well with co:workers, able to work unaided and supervise cooks, complete assigned tasks as directed. Daily Duties include but not limited to: :Vegetable prep, plating up breakfast, lunch or dinner, put away and rotate stock as needed, assisting co:workers as needed. :Searing proteins to be used in banquets and/or restaurant, re:therm/cooling products to proper temperatures following HACCP guidelines.
