The min required knowledge, skills, abilities, and background for a designer must include the following: : 4 yrs related work background. : Current understanding of electric distribution design and construction, estimating and NESC codes. : Working understanding of Electric Distribution Utility Systems including Street Lights installation, maintenance and conversations. : Skills and abilities related to verbal and written correspondence , planning and organization, time management, negotiation, issue solving, decision making; project coordination; logical and abstract thinking and computer literacy.
