Position description: 13; The Banquet Captain works with the Banquet management staff and is responsible for supervising the banquet staff to ensure banquet guests are offered an enjoyable, expertly served meal reflecting the high customer service standards of the Resort. They supervise the banquet room set:up and ensure all product and service standards are met. A Banquet Captain must maintain a professional appearance and friendly attitude toward guests, other employees and management staff. 13; Position requirements: 13; :Review the banquet schedule and ensure posting of updated function sheets in the banquet kitchen. :Prepare and post daily room assignments for banquet staff including specific times for set:up and service. :Oversee the set:up of all aspects of a function, including the physical layout of the room. :Monitor the appearance and performance of the banquet staff. Provide feedback and take corrective action if necessary.
