Position summary Buyer/Planner Location: Amcor Flexibles Madison, WI Reports to: Supply Chain Manager Job Overview: As a Buyer at Amcor you will play an essential role within the Supply Chain team to drive improvement in service, cost and quality by managing the day to day relationship with Amcors suppliers. You are directly responsible for the operational execution of the AF Madison plant which involves optimal scheduling and executing of the build plan. Job Dimensions: :Member of the Supply Chain team which consists of Purchasing, Planning, Customer Service and the Warehouse :Order acceptance, Order scheduling and Order Fulfillment :Office hours Monday through Friday with some flexibility to support a 24/7 plant :Travel expectations: less than 10 Principal Accountabilities: :Ensure timely and accurate procurement of material :Establish, review and maintain appropriate levels of safety stock :Improve supplier performance related to on:time delivery, cost, lead time, MOQs and quality
