Job overview Job assignments: : Promote and maintain on:site and off:site volunteer opportunities within the organization: : Survey staff monthly to assess needs for volunteer assistance : Maintain Volunteer Service Descriptions for all volunteer assignments : Ensure volunteers are properly staffed to support the various activities within the organization : Recommend the most efficient use of volunteers, appropriate volunteer/supervisory mix : Manage volunteer policies, procedures, and standards : Assess visitor feedback received through comment forms and follow up with lead volunteer contact : Organize and participate in volunteer recognition programs and special events : Evaluate all aspects of volunteer programs to ensure effectiveness and recommend changes to further enhance volunteer program : Maintain accurate records and provide timely reports on volunteer participation : Run volunteer sign:in sheet, record volunteer hours and make sure all volunteers sign appropriate forms :
