Staff Accountant **Immediately Available** - (San Diego, CA)

Position details The client is a Aerospace and Engineering company with offices based internationally with the head office based here in San Diego. The role will be a Staff Accountant position reporting directly into a CPA Controller. The main purpose of the role is to maintain the books and statutory records and preparing the general ledger accounts for the corporate holding entities which will include the annual budget and forecast alongside finance projects and process improvements. The clients current turnover is +90m with further organic growth and acquisition growth expected. The duties for a successful applicant will include: :Maintain the books and records and the preparation of general ledger accounts, budgets and forecasts :Reporting of the monthly results to the group :Weekly and quarterly cash:flow reporting :Assistance in local projects and process improvements :Communication with queries for both local and group auditors :Covering the controller whilst they are on annual leave
