CAE Application Engineer - (Naperville, IL)

CAE Application Engineer *Permanent full-time role* Responsibilities Provide technical support in finite element analysis and utilization of application functions and features. Conduct training on CAE tools and techniques with outside vendors and trainers. Perform engineering analysis. Review product specifications and utilize computer aided engineering applications conditions, replicate performance and evaluate the manufacturability of products. Conduct research and attend user conferences to learn about new and emerging applications and technology. Work on project teams to support application development and customization. Evaluates new vendor releases and provide feedback and recommendations for enhancements and improvements. Requirements Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. 3+ years in a design engineering and CAE environment. Solid background with Flotherm, HyperMesh, Moldflow, ABAQUS, Icepack, Ansys Electrical, etc. Ability in FEA tools.
