Health Information Manager - (Fort Collins, CO)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following and all other duties as assigned Participates in the facilities quality assurance committee and process. Maintains routine audits on problem areas, QA concerns, and Quality Indicator and survey issues. Responsible for assigning and sequencing ICD ten Coding for all Residents in the EHR. Audits, monitors and updates daily census, pay source and room changes in the electronic health record. Communicates changes in census, pay source and room changes to appropriate personnel. Works collaboratively with billing and clinical staff to respond to ADR/Insurance requests. Coordinates process for Physicians and NPs to sign orders and other documents that require provider signatures. Obtains medical records from acute care hospitals and other providers as needed. Uploads all pertinent documents into the EHR and/or paper records in the manual chart in a timely manner.
